East Pattaya is the broad inland belt east of Sukhumvit Road, stretching from Nong Pla Lai and Pong down past Lake Mabprachan towards Huai Yai. It is Pattaya's house and pool-villa heartland: gated villages, international schools and golf courses on generous plots, 10–15 minutes from the beach at a fraction of beachside land prices.
